Remembering our Achievements
Year 2014
In this year we have given 80 Test papers ( Madhyamik ) among poor students from different schools, identified by head of respective institutions. We have also provided Yearly academic books and Exercise books for six poor students ( from V - X ) - one of each class who had a tough time continuing their studies due to moneytary hardship.

Our Reunion Committee has contributed the total price of KALI PROTIMA of Ashrama for the last 4 years.

Our "Study Center" is going on where meretorious poor students are given special attentiion in our classes.

We are continuing to take active participation with the Ashrama in Medical camps in different slam areas. We have also oranised Sit and Draw competition and Essay competition in our school campus (like other years) to inspire the spirit of children with different topics on Sri Sri Thakur, Maa & Swamiji.

We have organized a session for the students of IX & X with the help of CID crime branch Kolkata, for awareness of crime in their everyday life.
Year 2013
To start with the list of achievements, lets talk about the reunion program fist. The total gathering was of 410 ex-students this year. But most of them took initiative themselves for registration. This is an achievement indeed. Last few years we had to call them, email them several times to get the registration. Some of our committee members went their home as well to collect registration fees. But, this year, on the contarary, we took little initiative to register them. We believe this is one of our achivements this year.

We also had participation of almost 60 members from Ashrama Staff, Monks, and our volunteers. Together, we did a marvelous job this year.
In the year 2014, we were fortunate to have one of our es-students, MR. Amitava Bagchi, who is currently with NASA. He passed out in the year of 1972 from our school. He was in Kolkata these days enjoing his vacation.
On this auspicious day, we also distributed prize for our last years' Sit & Draw and Essay Competition. Total no of prize given away was 23.
Keeping this winter in mind, we distributed woollen garments to 40 poor families from different parts of our lcoality. We hope, we can increase the number next year with help and support of everyone around us.
This year, we have also distributed books and khata among financially challenged students of class V to X. We have selected one student for each class. We are planning to keep the number up every year.
